Sickle Mountain ( English for Sichelberg ) is a 1250 m high mountain on the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 22 km east of Cape Berteaux on the southern flank of the Clarke Glacier .
The American polar explorer Finn Ronne named it during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) because its shape is reminiscent of a sickle.
