Sid Brod
Sidney "Sid" Sanford Brod (* 13. December 1899 in New York ; † 10. February 1955 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American assistant director , screenwriter , production manager and film producer , who at the Academy Awards in 1934 for the Oscar for best assistant director was nominated.
biography
As assistant director, screenwriter, production manager or producer, Brod has only worked in a few film productions such as Time to Love (1927), This Is the Life (1935), Straight from the Shoulder (1936), Knickerbocker Holiday (1944) and The Bing Crosby Show ( 1954) active.
At the Academy Awards in 1934 he was one of the nominees for the Academy Award for Best Assistant Director.
