Sidnei dos Santos Júnior , called Sidão (born July 9, 1982 in São Caetano do Sul ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Dos Santos started his career at EC Banespa in 2001 . In the following years he played for AD Santo André and Sport Club Ulbra before moving to Cimed Florianópolis in 2005 . In 2006, the middle blocker won the World League with the Brazilian national team . He was then committed by the Italian first division club Pallavolo Modena . In 2007 he defended his title in the world league. Dos Santos won the Challenge Cup 2008 with Modena . In 2009 he returned home and switched to his current club, SESI São Paulo . In the same year he won the world league again with Brazil and was also South American champion . As a world league winner, the national team also competed at the 2010 World Cup , where they defeated Cuba in the final . In 2011 he became Brazilian champion with São Paulo. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , he won the silver medal with Brazil.
