Siegfried Frank (born July 19, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player .

career

Frank played four games in the Bundesliga for Alemannia Aachen in the 1969/70 season . He made his debut on matchday 24 against Hamburger SV when he came on in the 24th minute. HSV won 2-0. The season was not a success for Frank and Aachen, Frank was only able to get one point in his four appearances. Aachen finished last in the table and was relegated. Later Frank played for BV Opladen and from 1973 for OSC Solingen and SG Union Solingen . For the OSC Solingen he came in the 1973/74 season in the Regionalliga West to 30 games in which he scored 4 goals. The OSC Solingen could not qualify for the 2nd Bundesliga in 1974 and was relegated to the Mittelrhein Association League. There the OSC merged with VfL Solingen-Wald to form SG Union Solingen. Frank played for Union in Solingen until 1976, but was no longer used in the 2nd Bundesliga North after their promotion in 1975 .
