Siegfried Hännl

Siegfried Hännl (born September 6, 1943 in Schönbach near Asch ; † October 4, 2012 in Bamberg ) was a German journalist.

Career

Hännl grew up in Selb-Plößberg . He worked for the Süddeutsche Zeitung for 27 years . There he was head of regional editions, the Bavarian department and the reportage page. Afterwards he was editor-in-chief of the Franconian Day in Bamberg until the end of August 2005 . From 2003 to 2006 he was chairman of the Academy for New Media in Kulmbach.
