Siegfried Albert Lietzmann (born May 25, 1951 in Lehnin ) is a German entrepreneur and politician ( LDPD , FDP ).

Life and work

After attending the Polytechnische Oberschule (POS) and the vocational school, which he completed in 1970 with a high school diploma and vocational training, Lietzmann did basic military service with the NVA until 1972 . From 1972 to 1975 he studied at the agricultural engineering school in Malchow and then worked as an engineer-technologist at the Institute for Engineering Education in Schwerin . From 1975 to 1977 he was head of animal production and from 1977 to 1979 head of apprenticeship training at the LPG in Kleßen . From 1979 to 1984 he attended the Academy for Political Science and Law in Potsdam . There he received his diploma in political science. Since 1990 he has been the deputy of the district administrator and head of budget / finances at the district administration in Rathenow . He now runs a management consultancy in Brandenburg .

Siegfried Lietzmann is married and has two children.

Lietzmann joined the LDPD in 1976 and served as mayor of the city ​​of Rhinow from 1979 to 1989 . After the political change in the GDR , he joined the FDP and was elected chairman of the FDP district association Rathenow in 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament . From 1990 to 1992 he was first deputy chairman and from 1992 to 1994 chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. He was also state treasurer of the FDP Brandenburg until 2002.
