Siegfried Loyda

Siegfried Loyda (born August 22, 1921 in Senftenberg ; † August 5, 2008 ) was a German actor and announcer of major evening programs, concerts and cabaret shows in the GDR.

After the Second World War Loyda took acting lessons at the Leipzig Conservatory and made her debut in 1946 as a speaker at the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk . He remained loyal to the medium of funk in the following decades, first in Leipzig, then in Berlin as a presenter of special programs.

Loyda acted as a speaker in radio plays and also moderated her own programs. The artist, who is very popular with a large audience, only played occasionally in film and television productions. In 1965 he played SS leader Heydrich in the film "Das Assentat" (ČSSR). In the series “ The Invisible Visor ” Loyda played the Born loyal Duke, head of the Rhein-Main detective agency and responsible for security issues in the organization (ODESSA) of the “old comrades” for many years.

Before joining the radio, Loyda was a new teacher in Senftenberg.
