Siegfried Menrad

Siegfried Menrad (born November 20, 1928 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † May 26, 2013 in Tübingen ) was a German economist and university professor .

Life

Menrad doctorate with the work of settlement procedures in-house power interconnection 1954 to the Dr. rer. pole. at the University of Tübingen . There, in 1963, the habilitation took place with the work The concept of costs: An investigation into the subject of cost accounting . In 1965 Menrad accepted an offer at the University of Mainz before returning to a professorship for banking and accounting at the University of Tübingen in 1969 . In 1994 he retired .

His areas of expertise included banking , accounting , controlling and auditing .
