Siegfried Scherzer (born June 28, 1949 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .
Career
At the League Cup 1972/73 he stood at the age of 23 on August 9, 1972 between the posts of the goal of Eintracht Braunschweig , the game at Eintracht Gelsenkirchen was won 0: 4.
Later he was in the squad of FV 04 Würzburg during the seasons 1976/77 , 1977/78 and 1978/79 . He made his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga South on August 14, 1976 in the 1: 2 home defeat against FC Bayern Hof . From then on he was in the starting line-up in almost every game. On November 19, 1978 in the 1: 3 defeat against SC Freiburg, he had his last assignment for the team.
