Siegmar Gutzeit
Siegmar Gutzeit (born March 25, 1952 in Böhlen ) is a former German foil fencer . He fought for the SC Einheit Dresden , with which he was GDR team champion several times. For the German Democratic Republic he took part in the Olympic Games in Moscow .
successes
In 1978 Gutzeit was 3rd at the GDR individual fencing championships, in 1979 and 1980 second. In 1975 and 1979 he also won the GDR team championships with SC Einheit Dresden. In 1976 and 1977 Dresden was also team champion, but the exact team line-up is not known. At the 1980 Olympic Games , he was fourth with the team together with Klaus Haertter , Hartmuth Behrens , Adrian Germanus and Klaus Kotzmann .
