The Siegmund Peak is a mountain in the Asgard Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . Together with Siegfried Peak to the north, it forms a saddle on the east side of the entrance to the Odin Valley .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him after Siegmund, father of Siegfried von Xanten from the Nibelungen saga .
