The Siegfried Peak is a mountain in the Asgard Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . Together with Siegmund Peak to the south, it forms a saddle on the east side of the entrance to the Odin Valley .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him after Siegfried , the hero of the Nibelungen saga .
