Sif Atladóttir (born July 15, 1985 in Düsseldorf ) is an Icelandic soccer player .

Career

Sif Atladóttir, daughter of the national soccer player Atli Eðvaldsson , started her career as a junior at the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður before moving to Valur Reykjavík for the 2007 season after further positions in KR Reykjavík and Þróttur Reykjavík . With Valur she won the Icelandic championship three times in a row until 2009 and in early 2010 she joined the then Bundesliga club 1. FC Saarbrücken . For the 2011 season of Damallsvenskan , Sif moved to Kristianstads DFF , with whom she reached the final of the Svenska Cup in 2014 .

National team

Sif played for various Icelandic junior national teams before making her debut in the Icelandic senior team at the Algarve Cup in 2007 . With this she subsequently also took part in the European Football Championships in 2009 and 2013 .
