Sigmar Stocker

Sigmar Stocker (born May 16, 1969 in Meran ) is a South Tyrolean politician of the Freedom Party .

biography

In 1995, Stocker, a member of the local rifle company was, for the civil list Terlan, Vilpiano, Siebeneich in the council of Terlan selected. In the same year Stocker became a member of the Freedom Party. He worked as a personal advisor to the state parliament member Pius Leitner , was general secretary until 2001 and became vice chairman of the party in 2007. In the 2008 elections , Stocker was able to win a mandate for the South Tyrolean state parliament and, at the same time, the regional council Trentino-South Tyrol with 4,358 preferential votes . In the state elections in 2013 , he was re-elected with 9,397 preferential votes. As part of the state elections in 2018 , he missed a further entry into the state parliament and regional council with 1,004 preferential votes.
