Sigmund Freud Prize for Scientific Prose

The Sigmund Freud Prize for Scientific Prose is a German science prize that was founded in 1964 by HEAG Südhessische Energie AG . It is awarded annually by the German Academy for Language and Poetry in Darmstadt during its autumn conference. The endowment is 20,000 euros. The prize is dedicated to Sigmund Freud , the master of learned prose , who succeeded in presenting complex facts of his science in a generally understandable way and thus contributing to the popularity of his field of knowledge.
