history
Signs of the Swarm was founded in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania by singer CJ McCreery, guitarists Cory Smarsh and Jacob Toy, bassist Collin Barker and drummer Jimmy Pino.
On April 8, 2016, the quintet's debut album, Senseless Order, was released via Chugcore . After Signs of the Swarm was signed by Unique Leader Records at the end of 2016 , the musicians announced the second studio album The Disfigurement of Existence for November 3, 2017 in September 2017 . Dickie Allen, who plays in the bands Infant Annihilator and Abiotic , could be won as a guest musician .
In March 2017, the group toured with So This Is Suffering as part of Alien vs. Pradatour through nine cities in the United States . From October 1 to 14, 2017, the band and Falsifier could be seen as the opening act for Face Your Maker as part of the Super Slam Bros. Tour . This tour led again through the United States. At the end of June 2018, the band announced the separation from their singer CJ McCreery, who later joined Lorna Shore as the new front man after their singer Tom Barber replaced Alex Koehler at Chelsea Grin . Dave Simonich was announced as the new front singer.
