Sigrid Alegría

Sigrid Alegría Conrads (born June 18, 1974 in Rostock ) is a Chilean actress .

Life

Alegría was born to Chilean parents in 1974 - during the military dictatorship in Chile - in exile in the GDR . In 1982 the family emigrated to the Netherlands and returned to Chile two years later.

From 1994 to 1997 Alegría attended the Teatro Imagen drama school in Santiago and made her television debut in 1998 in the telenovela Borrón y cuenta nueva on the state television broadcaster TVN . She played in eight other series and telenovelas of this station, until she switched to private competitor Canal 13 for a short time in 2004 , only to return to TVN after only one year after appearing in two telenovelas. In 2006 she received the Altazor award for best Chilean television actress for portraying Leticia Lira in the telenovela Los Treinta .

In 2003 she made her film debut in the Chilean comedy Sexo con Amor .
