Siham El-Maimouni (born March 5, 1985 in Duisburg ) is a German editor and television presenter . Her parents have Moroccan roots.

Professional Activities

From 2004 to 2010 she was an author for the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung and the Neue Ruhr Zeitung . Between 2005 and 2010 she was a presenter at Antenne Düsseldorf and Radio NRW . From 2008 to 2013 she moderated the youth radio program Dasding for SWR .

El-Maimouni moderates the children's news program nine and a half on WDR and, since 2009, the lifestyle program Süpermercado on COSMO . She has been part of the team of moderators for the show with the mouse since 2014 . In addition, she has moderated the culture magazine Westart together with Thilo Jahn since 2017 . She has also been moderating the West Pole program since 2020 .
