Silje Hjemdal

Silje Hjemdal (born August 8, 1984 ) is a Norwegian politician of the right-wing Fremskrittspartiet (FrP). She has been a member of the Storting since 2017 .

Life

Between 2011 and 2015, Hjemdal was a member of the Bergen City Council . In 2015 she was part of the Bergen city government, Byråd , between June and October , where she was responsible for social affairs and housing, among other things. In the fylkesting elections 2015 she won a mandate in the fylkesting of the then Hordaland province .

Hjemdal entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time in the 2017 general election . There she represents the constituency of Hordaland and she became a member of the family and culture committee.
