Silje Theodorsen (born August 19, 1994 in Tromsø ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Theodorsen started in the Scandinavian Cup for the first time in December 2012 and made her debut in the Cross-Country World Cup on December 5, 2014 at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer , where she finished 32nd in her first sprint and in the next stage in 16th place over 5 km Freestyle scored their first World Cup points; in the overall ranking of the Nordic Openings 2014 she finished 41st. In her second start in the Scandinavian Cup, Theodorsen achieved her first top 10 placement in Lillehammer with fifth place over 10 km freestyle and two days later with second place in the 20 km mass start race in the classic technique also her first podium finish. At the U23 World Championships in 2015 in Almaty , she won the silver medal in the sprint and was fifth in both the 10 km freestyle and the skiathlon . In February 2015, Theodorsen took third place in the Scandinavian Cup in Madona in the classic 10 km class and two further podium finishes in the 20 km freestyle mass start race.
