education and profession

Striezel reached secondary school and then did an administrative apprenticeship with the city of Kiel. She was an administrative clerk at the student union in Kiel and at the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture. After being a housewife for some time, Striezel became a sports salesman in 1980, then a member of the works council and chairwoman of the works council. From 1985 to 1998 she was freelance chairman of the general works council, after which she became a commercial employee at BSAG .

politics

Striezel became a member of the CDU in 1979. She was a member of the state executive. In 1989 she became a member of the federal executive committee of the CDA , of which she was also a member of the executive federal executive committee and deputy state chairwoman. From 1983 to 1985 she was a member of the advisory board of the local office in Schwachhausen / Vahr , from 1987 to 2003 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Striezel became a member of the trade union trade, banking and insurance in 1982 , was chairwoman of the Bremen local administration from 1992 to 1994, then until 1998 a member of the state board of the HBV and was a deputy union committee member from 1992 to 1998. She has been a member of Verdi, Berlin, since 1999.

Striezel is divorced and has two children.
