Silke Stroth

Silke Stroth (born September 28, 1963 in Bremen ) is a German psychologist and political officer . Since August 2019 she has been State Councilor for the Senator for Health, Women and Consumer Protection of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

Life

Stroth studied psychology in Marburg and Bremen . After completing her studies (1988), she worked in various functions in the public health service , including as a consultant for AIDS, drug health aid, women's health (1990–1995), head of health planning, health management 2007 (1995-2007), head of health planning, psychiatry and Addiction (2007–2012) and Head of Health and Consumer Protection (2012–2016). From 2016 to 2019 she was division manager for the Health North Education Academy .

In August 2019, as part of the formation of the Senate Bovenschulte, Senator Claudia Bernhard appointed her State Councilor for Health, Women and Consumer Protection.
