KK Silver Link ( Japanese 株式会社 SILVER LINK., Kabushiki-gaisha Silver Link. ) Is a Japanese animation studio.

history

Silver Link was founded in December 2007 by Hayato Kaneko, who was previously a producer at Frontline animation studio .

After the company was initially only a subcontractor for the productions of anime television series from other studios, it was commissioned in 2009 to lead the animation of the computer game Tayutama as a television series. However, it gained greater fame in 2010 with the animation of the series Baka to Test to Shōkanjū , in which it was also part of the production committee.

On August 3, 2020, the studio was completely bought up by the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation and runs it as a subsidiary.
