Silvio Marzolini (born October 4, 1940 in Buenos Aires - † July 17, 2020 ) was an Argentine soccer player who played for the Boca Juniors . In the 1960s he was widely referred to as one of the best left-backs in the world.
Marzolini began his career in Ferro Carril Oeste's youth and made his debut in the first division in 1959 . A year later he was signed by the Argentinian top club Boca Juniors and remained loyal to the club until the end of his career. He was a regular here for years and won five league titles (1962, 64, 65, 69, 70) and was used in a total of 407 competitive games.
In total, Marzolini played 28 times (1 goal) for the Argentine national team and took part in the football world championships in 1962 and 1966 .
