Silviu Băiceanu (born May 23, 1978 in Constanța , Constanța County ) is a former Romanian handball player .

The circle player is 1.97 m tall and weighs 105 kg. From 1999 to 2003 he played for Steaua Bucharest , from 2003 to 2006 for HCM Constanța , from 2006 to 2008 for Frisch Auf Göppingen and then switched back to the three-time Romanian champion HCM Constanța. Most recently he played for the Israeli club Maccabi Rishon LeZion .

For the Romanian national team he scored 57 goals in 15 international matches.

Băiceanu has been the sports director of the Romanian club CSU Neptun since 2013.
