Simha Flapan (1967)

Simha Flapan (born January 27, 1911 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki , Poland , † April 13, 1987 in Israel ) was a Polish-Israeli historian and politician.

Simha Flapan emigrated to Palestine in 1930 . In 1957 he founded the monthly magazine New Outlook in Tel Aviv . He was the national secretary of the Mapam party . His best known book is The Birth of Israel: Myth and Reality .
