Simon Bertling

Simon Bertling (* 1973 ) is a German director and composer.

Together with Christian Hagitte he produced the radio play series " Edgar Allan Poe " with Ulrich Pleitgen and Iris Berben and the radio play series "Hui Buh" with Christoph Maria Herbst and " Perry Rhodan " with Volker Lechtenbrink and wrote the music for the radio plays.

The "Edgar Allan Poe" radio plays were nominated for the German radio book award of the WDR in 2006, were awarded the radio play award and the Ohrkanus and were broadcast by the Hessischer Rundfunk.

In addition, he and Hagitte wrote the theme music and the score for the radio play series “ Die Drei ??? “From episode 125, as well as the radio play music for the fantasy trilogy" Die Wellenläufer "by Kay Meyer.

Together with Christian Hagitte, he also records the score for the films Kapital: Mensch , Die Menschenfischer and Does Europe go to Hell? by Lilian Franck and Robert Cibis .

He lives with his family in Berlin.
