Simon Wachsmuth

Simon Wachsmuth (* 1964 in Hamburg ) is a media and concept artist .

Life

Simon Wachsmuth studied painting and visual media design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna . There he was a master student of Carl Unger and Peter Weibel . He also studied at the Institute for Communication Theory with Roy Ascott. In 1989 he won the Prix ​​Ars Electronica award in the computer animation category, and in 2003 he was awarded the Otto Mauer Prize . In 2007 he took part in Documenta 12 in Kassel.
