Simona Deflorin
Simona Deflorin (born July 25, 1965 in Bergamo , Italy ) is a Swiss painter .
life and work
Simona Deflorin studied from 1986 to 1988 at the Basel School of Design in the class for "Free Artistic Design" with Franz Fedier . Since 1991 she has been working as a freelance artist in her studio in Basel . In 1997 Simona Deflorin received a scholarship for a stay at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris as part of the artist studio "Carl Spitteler" in the canton of Baselland. Simona Deflorin is the winner of the Fontana-Gränacher Foundation 2012; this foundation goes back to the artist Annemie Fontana . In 2013, works by Simona Deflorin were included in the Kunstkredit Basel-Landschaft collection.
Simona Deflorin lives and works in Basel and is represented by the gallery per-seh from Hanover.
