Simona Kóšová (born March 27, 1992 in Komárno ) is a Slovak volleyball player .

Career

Kóšová began her career in her hometown at VK Komárno. In 2006 she moved to the Slovak first division club Slávia Bratislava . With the club, the middle blocker won the Slovak championship in 2008. After finishing second in the following season, Bratislava became champions again with Kóšová in 2010 and 2011. In 2011, the national junior player took part with the Slovak selection at the World Cup in Peru , in which Marek Rojko's team took seventh place. Kóšová is now part of the senior national team . In 2014 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen . There she met the well-known coach Rojko and two teammates from the national team. With Aachen she reached the final of the DVV Cup in 2015 , which was lost 3-2 to Allianz MTV Stuttgart . In 2016, Kóšová moved within the Bundesliga to 1. VC Wiesbaden .
