The Simpson Hills are a group of mountain ridges up to 1700  m high and Nunatakker not far from the Black Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . They rise 10 km northwest of Owen Peak at the head of the Gruening Glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped them using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969 and carried out surveys with the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) between 1986 and 1987. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1991 after Anthony Russell Simpson (* 1961) from BAS, who was involved in these surveys.
