Sinaloa is an American emocore band from Somerville that plays in a line-up without a bass player .
history
The band was formed in 2002 by three friends Pete Zetlan, Brendan Campell and Luke Pearson. After a few name changes, the band finally called themselves Sinaloa, after graffiti in the hallway of a house in which three lived for a while. After some releases, a split with the Screamo band Ampere followed in 2006 . The band toured often through the United States, but from 2009 also through Europe, for example with Ampere, but also in spring 2008 as a headliner.
style
Stylistically, the band plays typical emo , although the overall sound of the band is a bit calmer and more experimental. The lack of bass in the band's sound is probably the most striking feature.
