Level Plane Records

Level Plane Records is an independent label from New York / USA founded in 1997 . The DIY- conscious label is one of the most important publishers of music from the field of emo , screamo , hardcore punk and other music. The mailorder of the same name is also associated with this .

history

The label was founded in 1997 by Greg Drudy , who maintained it until 2009, actually to release a record by the screamo band Saetia . But the label quickly began to oversee other band releases.

"The idea that the label would grow to it's current size and enable me to release records for artists as diverse as Muslimgauze, The One AM Radio and Lickgoldensky was something I could never have imagined"
