Sinan Bytyqi (born January 15, 1995 in Prizren , BR Yugoslavia ) is a former Kosovar football player who also has Austrian citizenship.

Career

Sinan Bytyqi moved in 2009 from SK Austria Kärnten to Südstadt to FC Admira Wacker Mödling . There he was given a contract until 2013. In April 2012 he was signed by Manchester City . In early 2015 he was loaned to SC Cambuur until the end of the 2014/15 season. On February 28, 2015, he was seriously injured in a 1-0 win against Heracles Almelo . He was replaced after 23 minutes after tearing a cruciate ligament and was out for around nine months. It wasn't until December 14, 2015 that he made his comeback for the Manchester City U-21s. From the end of August 2016 to the end of 2016 he played on loan in the Eredivisie with the Go Ahead Eagles and played four games in the league.

He retired in late November 2017 after being diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy on a performance test .

National team

Bytyqi went through various Austrian youth national selections. In August 2016, he announced that he would appear for Kosovo in the future. He was then nominated for three games, but was not used.
