Sincerely

Sincerely is an American R&B and pop ballad that became known worldwide as the McGuire Sisters version . Sincerely is often used as background music in German television films to introduce the viewer to the time of the economic miracle that was just beginning .

Sincerely was composed by Harvey Fuqua and performed for the first time by the Moonglows , who had their first big hit on the Billboard R&B charts with the song. The singles also managed to reach number 20 on the Billboard pop chart. As amended by the McGuire Sisters came Sincerely in December 1954 in the American charts and stayed in 1955 for four weeks square one .

Two other versions made it into the charts: Paul Anka's 1969 version from number 80, and the version of the Four Seasons 1964 at number 75.
