Single Ladies is a song of the Swiss House - DJ Remady . He was recorded with the singer Manu-L , also from Switzerland, and the Swedish rapper J-Son . Single Ladies was released in Switzerland on March 2nd and in Germany on May 18th, 2012 as a download and single . The song was the first single to be seen and at the same time as an announcement for the album The Original, which was released on March 23, 2012, and reached the top of the chart in Switzerland. Remady received a double platinum record for the song for over 60,000 units sold . It is the most successful single by all three musicians so far.

Music video

The official music video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of the record label Kontor Records on May 18, 2012 . It was filmed in a bar in London on Valentine's Day. At the beginning of the video, Remady can be seen playing this song in a disco. In the first chorus, Manu-L is shown behind a curtain and makes the appropriate mouth movements to the music. In the following "rap part" J-Son is shown between several female dancers. At the end everyone is standing on the dance floor, raising their arms and swinging to the beat.

The title was nominated in July 2012 as "Best Song of the Year" at the ESKA Music Award in Poland.

Chart placements
