Skånela IF
Skånela IF (IF = Idrottsförening, German: Sportverein) is a Swedish handball club from Märsta .
The club's home venue is the Vikingahallen.
The first women's team was Swedish champions in 1992. She rose after the 2008/2009 season from the Elitserien , the highest Swedish league, in Division 1 norra . In 2013 Skånela returned to the Elitserien, in which the team played two seasons.
The first men's team played in the 2007/2008 season in the Allsvenskan , the second highest division among men. After the men played in Division 1 (the third division for men) in the 2009/2010 season, the team was promoted to the Elitserien by 2012 . A year later, however, the team had to go into the second division.
