Skallevikhalsen (Norwegian for skull neck ) are a 6 km long series of rocky hills on the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . They are located immediately west of the Skallevika Bay on the southeast bank of the Lützow-Holm Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who named it after the naming of the neighboring bay Skallevika, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
