The Skane Nunatak is a striking and 130 m high nunatak in the southwest of Anvers Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It rises 600 m east of Cape Monaco .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2007 after Richard J. Skane, foreman for carpentry as part of the United States Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station for four campaigns from 1979 and in ten campaigns from 1986 to 1996 at Palmer Station .
