The Skallevika ( Norwegian for Great Bay is) a bay at the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It is located immediately west of the Skallen group of hills on the southeast bank of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who named them after the Skallen group of hills, mapped them using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
