Skanky´Lil Records is an independent label from Antwerp (Belgium).

history

Skanky´Lil Records was founded in 1989 by the British ska musician Mark Foggo . At the beginning it was all about re-releasing the older and now out of print Mark Foggo albums, so the first record was "Ska-Pig" (Skanky'Lil Records 1989), which had previously been released on the English label Skank Records had appeared. In the following years Skanky'Lil signed other Ska and Punk bands from different European countries. The sound carriers are distributed via Cargo Records . Like many other independent labels, Skanky'Lil Records is also active in the field of concert booking, band management and promotion.
