Skarskvervet (Norwegian for Swirling wind gap ) is a small cirque glacier in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Alexander von Humboldt Mountains of the Wohlthatmassiv , it is on the east side of the Botnfjellet .

He was discovered and photographed from the air during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named the glacier, mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
