Skee-Lo
Skee-Lo , actually Antoine Roundtree , (born March 5, 1973 in Poughkeepsie ) is a well-known rapper in the 1990s . Skee-Lo was born in New York State and raised in Riverside , California. Most of his texts dealt with life in Los Angeles .
Career
With the song I Wish (published in Germany via S & F Entertainment ), sampled by Bernard Wright's Spinnin , he reached 13th place in the Billboard charts , 14th in the German single charts and 10th in Switzerland. The single developed a one-hit wonder and, like the album of the same name, received gold in the USA in 1995 .
