The 2005 Skeleton Junior World Championship was the third edition of the Skeleton Junior World Championship . For both women and men, the race took place on January 29, 2005 in Winterberg in the Hochsauerland on the Winterberg Hochsauerland bobsleigh run . In the women's category, Kathleen Lorenz from Germany was the first professional skeleton to defend the junior world championship. In the men's category, the German skeleton driver Mirsad Halilovic secured the Junior World Championship.
