Ski Tour Canada
The Ski Tour Canada is a part of the cross-country skiing World Cup being transmitted stage race in Canada .
General
The competition was first held in March 2016 and marked the end of the 2015/16 World Cup season . The first edition comprised eight stages, including four distance races, three sprints and a final pursuit stage. Gatineau , Montreal , Québec and Canmore served as stages ; a section originally planned in Lake Louise was moved to Canmore.
No Ski Tour Canada is planned for the World Cup seasons 2016/17 , 2017/18 and 2018/19 , in which the Olympic Winter Games and Nordic World Ski Championships take place. instead, a World Cup final is to be held each time.
