Skool Luv Affair is the third EP by the South Korean boy band BTS , which was released on February 12, 2014 via Big Hit Entertainment . There are ten songs on the EP; Boy In Luv was released as a single. On May 14th, the re-package album Skool Luv Affair Special Addition was re-released with two new songs.

Background and advertising

On January 26, 2014, BigHit started a countdown on BTS 'website. On February 2nd, the comeback trailer came out in which the leader RM raps in the background to an animation. The title list with the concept photos appeared three days later. An official album snippet was released on February 6th. The song Just One Day has already been released as a promotional single with the album snippet.

On February 11th, the group held a press conference where they introduced their new album with a few live performances. The theme song Boy In Luv was featured on music shows with the promo single Just One Day .

Skool Luv Affair Special Addition

The re-package album was released on May 14th and contains three CDs with two new tracks and a total of 18 tracks - six of them instrumentals.

Music videos

On February 2, the teaser for Boy In Luv was published. The music video came out on February 12th at the same time as the album. The music video for Just One Day was released on April 6th .

Commercial win

Boy In Luv reached # 5 and Just One Day # 25 on Billboard World Digital Songs. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard World Albums. With Boy In Luv , BTS was nominated for the first place at a music show for the first time. The album reached number 1 on the weekly GAON album charts two months after its release . The repackage debuted at number 1 on the GAON charts. Skool Luv Affair was the 20th best-selling album of the year in Korea.
