Dark & ​​Wild is the first studio album by the South Korean boy group BTS . It was released on August 19, 2014 under Big Hit Entertainment . The album contains 14 titles with Danger as the title track. Dark & ​​Wild was the 14th best-selling album in South Korea in 2014.

On August 5, 2014, BigHit announced the album on YouTube. In the published video you can see a landscape made of animation, which is supposed to represent paradise. In the course of the event, the mood changes and the viewer gets into a dark atmosphere. The leader of the group RM raps in the background of the comeback trailer . On August 7th the teaser pictures of the members and the tracklist appeared. The group had an official comeback showcase on August 19th with performances from '' Danger '', '' War Of Hormone '' and '' Let Me Know ''.

Music videos

The music video for Danger was released at the same time as the album. On October 21, BTS continued its week of promotion with War Of Hormone , for which a music video was also shot.

Commercial win

Dark & ​​Wild debuted in the third week of August 2014 at number 2 on the weekly Gaon Album Charts. The album landed at number 3 on the monthly Gaon Album Charts. It also reached number 3 on the Billboard's World Albums chart and number 27 on the US Top Heatseekers chart.
