Remagen Sculpture Bank
The Remagen Sculpture Bank consists of 14 art objects, which are spread over 14 kilometers on the left bank of the Rhine in the area of the city of Remagen .
Emergence
Since 2000, the Arp Museum has been developing the “Sculpture Shore Remagen” along the banks of the Rhine between Rolandswerth , past the Rolandseck train station and into the city of Remagen, in collaboration with the city of Remagen. According to the original plan, 12 to 14 sculptures were to be realized by the time the museum designed by Richard Meier opened at Rheinhöhe above the Rolandseck train station.

Discussions about a new panorama for Remagen
Thomas Huber's contribution to the sculpture path originally consisted of two parts: the picture construction sign A new panorama for Remagen - with the location Remagen - and the picture construction sign redesign of the Remagen promenade on the other side of the Rhine in Erpel . A new panorama for Remagen can still be seen at its location. The counterpart, the redesign of the Remagen promenade , was dismantled on June 28, 2006 according to a resolution by the Erpels local council in May 2006 and housed in the art warehouse of the Arp Museum until further notice. This decision was preceded by repeated criticism from the citizens of Erpel. They felt themselves or their drakes in Thomas Huber's vision A new panorama for Remagen vilified, even insulted, and the beloved historical view of Erpel defaced.
