Kandel Sculpture Path

The Kandel sculpture trail in Kandel (Palatinate) , district of Germersheim , in the south-east of Rhineland-Palatinate, is a section of the Rhineland-Palatinate sculpture trail .

Project description

The support of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate for art projects in public space led to the creation of the sculpture path in Kandel in 1993 .

In 2009, a wood sculptor symposium was held in the park at the Schwanenweiher . Artists from the twin cities of Reichshoffen , France, Whitworth (Lancashire) , Great Britain and Germany worked together as a symbol of partnership.

The sculpture path and the wood sculptor symposium have a direct local connection. The entire circular route has a length of about 5 kilometers.
