Sky News Arabia is the Arabic-language branch of Rupert Murdoch's TV news channel Sky News , and it uses its network of correspondents. The station is based in Abu Dhabi with studios in North Africa and the Middle East as well as in London and Washington, DC

The station went on air in the United Arab Emirates in May 2012 and was the result of a cooperation between BSkyB and the Abu Dhabi Investment Corp of Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan .

Like its competitors al-Arabiya , Al Jazeera and Alarab , Sky News Arabia also promises independent and “fear-free” reporting.

Sky News Arabia is a satellite channel and is broadcast via Nilesat 201 (7 ° W) in HD and SD , Arabsat Badr-4 (26 ° E) in HD and SD, Astra 2E (28.2 ° E) and Hot Bird (13 ° C) transfer.
